This fursuit base runs fairly small and sleek. If you'd like it a bit larger, let me know in the personalization, or send me a message.

This canine headbase is made mostly of 8mm EVA foam, with upholstery foam for the ears. The EVA foam is connected with contact cement, while the upholstery foam and optional fabric are securely hot glued. (All of these chemicals are non-toxic when set, which takes one week. The date of creation of each item is written on the bottom, please ensure a week has passed before using it!) It comes with four different options of ears, but if you're interested in a design that I don't currently offer, message me and I'd be happy to design some for you.

There is an option for a partial lining, that covers the wearer's neck, chest, and back of the head which makes it more easily furred. It is made from a spandex and polyester blend that is very stretchy, comfortable, and breathable. **However, you will need to add padding on the inside of the base with either option.** I don't add any padding beforehand so that it the customer can more easily fit it to their needs. Additionally, the foam can easily be cut with a blade or even scissors if you need to adjust it.

Each base may differ slightly from the product photos, as each one is handmade and foam carving is not an exact science. If something is not up to your standards, please let me know. This head base is entirely machine washable in cold water! Be very careful when applying heat; contact cement has a higher melting point than hot glue, so if you needed to warm hot glue you can without damaging the base. However, extreme heat will eventually weaken the contact cement and it won't stick back together very well if at all.

My items are made in close contact with a cat. I do my best to remove any fur, but please take care if you have extreme allergies.
