Animal character design

Animal character design is my greatest skill and favorite work to produce. I am mainly inspired by Warrior Cats, so most of my portfolio are fairly natural looking cats, but I draw other animals, fantasy designs and anthros as well.

A digital, flat color drawing of Dovewing from Warrior Cats. Dovewing is a fat, fluffy, light purpleish-grey molly with long, flowing fur and slightly curled ears. She has faint tabby stripes on her legs and tail, and large, bright purple eyes with stars reflected in them. She is standing as if she had just stopped walking to admire something in the sky with an awed expression. The drawing is outlined in the same purple as her eyes, as if a sticker.

A digital, flat color drawing of Squirrelflight from Warrior Cats. Squirrelflight is a fat, fluffy, ruddy somali cat with bright green eyes and a bushy, curled tail. She has a pale chest ruff, underbelly, toes, and one fully pale paw. She's heavily countershaded in a rich warm brown, with slight tabby stripes on her legs and face. She's sitting rather silly, her back paws in the air, supporting herself on only one foreleg while her other paw is near her face, as if gesturing. She appears to be speaking with a playful expression. The drawing is outlined in the same green as her eyes, as if a sticker.

A digital, flat color drawing of Scourge from Warrior Cats. Scourge is a thin, lanky, nearly black cat with a fluffy tail. He has a white dash, muzzle, tail tip, and left forepaw. His coat is a deeply countershaded dark rusty color, giving his fur almost a burnt appearance. He wears a purple collar studded with cat claws and dog teeth, and ice blue eyes. He is walking up to the viewer almost sideways, with a curious and kind of smug expression. The drawing is outlined in the same blue as his eyes, as if a sticker.

A digital, flat color drawing of Lionblaze from Warrior Cats. Lionblaze is a thick, sandy brown furred tom with faint classic tabby stripes and yellow-green eyes. His shaggy fur gives the impression of a lions mane around his chest, and a poof on the end of his tail. He is in profile facing right, looking over his shoulder with a stoic expression. The drawing is outlined in the same color as his eyes, as if a sticker.

A digital, flat color drawing of Dawncloud from Warrior Cats. Dawncloud is a pretty, fat, curled furred molly with a short tail and green-yellow eyes. She is standing facing right with a curious expression. The drawing is outlined in the same color as her eyes.

A digital, flat color drawing of Tawnypelt from Warrior Cats. Tawnypelt is a large, longhaired torbie (brown and orange) cat. She's standing in a defensive posture with her back arched, facing left with a slight snarl on her face and eyes narrowed. She has yellow and green eyes, some scars on her face and forelegs, and her claws are extended. The entire drawing is outlined in the same colors as her eyes.

A digital, flat color drawing of Cinderpelt from Warrior Cats. Cinderpelt is a thick furred, stocky, mostly grey dilute calico molly. Half of her tail and her left hind leg are missing, with the ladder ending in scarred flesh. She faces away from the viewer to the left, sticking her tongue out over her shoulder with a michevious wink. The drawing is outlined in pale purple, the same color as her eyes.

A digital, fully rendered, semi realstic drawing of a half decomposed demonic lion. It has a horned, completely exposed skull, and blue vapor pours from its eyes and mouth. It sports a rugged looking mane and tattered batlike wings, and is facing left in an intimidating post, claws extended.

A digital, flat color drawing of Littlecloud from Warrior cats. Littlecloud is an adorable, fat, and round pale brown tom with a bright white chest, paws and face. His eyes are pale purple, and he sits facing right with his fluffy tail wrapped around his body. The drawing is outlined in the same color as his eyes, as if a sticker.

A digital, flat color drawing of an anthropomorphic wolf. He has dark brown fur and shoulder length black hair tied in a ponytail, and tired brown eyes. He is wearing a black hoodie with blue plaid pajama pants, and is holding a brown stag beetle plush. He stands looking nervous or shy with one hand in his pocket.

A digital, flat color drawing of Noelle from Deltarune. She is a tall, thin, anthropomorphic reindeer girl with shoulder length blonde hair, gold eyes and a red nose. Her fur is brown with darker points, blaze, and a white muzzle. She wears a red and green sweater vest over a short sleeve collared shirt, and a black pleated skirt. She carries a textbook and is stepping forward, with her mouth open inquisitively.

A digital, flat color drawing of Susie from Deltarune. Susie is a tall, broad, purple dinosaur-esque monster with long, shaggy dark purple hair; She wears a long, tattered purple trenchcoat, a band shirt, straight-legged washed out blue jeans with tears, and black Doc Martens. She also holds an axe over her shoulder, and her face is downcast with a wicked grin, her hair covering her eyes.

A digital flat color drawing of my fursona, Swiftwing. They are a golden, anthropomorphic, winged cat with huge, curly red to purple ombred hair and light purple skin and eyes. Their fur is pointed in dark purple, gradiented in a way that is reminiscent of clouds at sunset, as well as a flame like marking on their nose. They have a lion's tufted tail, a slim but muscular build, and they face the viewer while throwing a peace sign.

A digital, flat color drawing of my fursona, Swiftwing. They are dressed in their Homestuck classpect outfit as a Knight of Blood, a coordinated pajama-like outfit with a dark red colorscheme. They wear a floor length, hooded cape is pulled up around their ears, a t-shirt with the Blood emblem on it in bright red, a long sleeve shirt beneath it, comfy sweatpants, and dark grey converse. They are standing with one leg crossed over the other, and arm over their stomach, the other covering their muzzle with a half hearted peace sign, and their expression is vaguely mischevious.

A flat, digital drawing of Catti from Deltarune. She is a fat, white cat monster with black, shoulder length hair and a hot pink streak through her bangs. She wears heavy, emo-inspired makeup around her eyes and a lot of jewelry and chains, notably a choker with a pentacle pendant. She wears a dark grey Pierce The Veil t-shirt, black and white striped arm warmers, a checkered belt, a tiny black crossbody purse, a hot pink mini skirt, torn leggings and black and grey creeper shoes. She holds a hot pink cell phone in her hand, and is standing in 3/4ths view, looking at the viewer as if she has just been interrupted from texting.

Animation

All my animation skill is self-taught, and mostly only simple things that you see here.

A square, looping animation of a sparkly blue anthropomorphic wolf. They are sitting at a desk in a dark library, wearing a dark robe, and writing mysterious symbols in a book by candlelight. They rest their head in one hand with a content expression, and their ear flicks idly as they work. The animation has a fuzzy quality to it, and the lineart wiggeles between each frame.

A square, looping animation of a ginger half-cat half-dog animal. He is fluffy and has the stripes and tail of a tabby cat, but floppy ears and long muzzle like a dog. He holds a bisexual flag in his mouth, and his tail swishes happily. The background is also the bisexual flag.

A simple, mostly monochrome animation of a bluebell flower growing and then blooming. The plant is white and has an etheral quality, beginning as a tiny sprout and progressing to grow four flowers on it, one large and three small. The flowers are pale blue and the background is washed out grey.

Traditional art

I mostly prefer digital art, but I do traditional art occasionally, usually watercolor painting.

A linoleum print of my shop logo for Dandylionpaws. The logo depicts a lion's paw holding a dandelion flower by the stem. The print is done in black ink on pink paper, and three suns are carved into three of the corners of the print.

I don't do many of these, but I hope to more in the future.
